I LIKE THIS PRODUCT FOR ITS SPEED ON THE JOB, BUT BROKE A 1/4" PILOT BIT DRILLING OUT WITH A HOLE SAW,PROBABLY SHOULD HAVE USED A REGULAR DRILL.
If you own an impact driver of any manufacturer, buy this kit. The attachments are well built and handy for anyone from the homeowner to mechanical contractor.
This is a high quality chuck that holds bits very well and is easy to connect to the 1/4 inch quick change drill chuck. It can be difficult to release the drill bits after use, and there were no instructions on how to tighten and release the bits once in the chuck.
I SUGGEST THAT YOU TIGHTEN OR LOOSEN THE CHUCK TO REMOVE BITS, WHEN IT IS NOT ATTACHED TO THE DRILL TO AVOID DAMAGE TO YOUR DRILL. I REALLY DO NOT HAVE MUCH USE FOR THIS PRODUCT AND I THINK THAT I CAN SPEAK FOR MOST OF US. I WOULD NOT REPURCHASE THIS PRODUCT. IT IS HEAVY AND CUMBERSOME. YOU HAVE TO BE CAREFUL NOT TO DAMAGE YOUR DRILL WHEN USING THIS PRODUCT. YOU HAVE TO FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS CAREFULLY OR YOU WILL. I KNOW WE ALL OWN A DRILL THAT CAN HANDLE ALL BITS, USE THAT ONE WHEN NEEDED. I WISH I DIDN'T SPEND THE MONEY ON THIS PRODUCT.
I have a Impact drill with a quick disconnect feature. I prefer to use this tool instead of using a regular drill. The adapter I purchased would enable me to make use of my regular round drill bits with the ability of using the quick disconnect feature on my Impact drill.
